How it Works
It works by analysing due dates for PMs which have already been created as Work Orders by Maintenance Plans. It simulates the due dates for work to be completed using definable parameters to highlight to planners and schedulers how PM schedules can be optimised.
This solution removes many of the challenges to utilising Counter Based Plans and therefore allowing for further optimisation on PM Schedules by replacing Calendar based PMs with Counter Based Plans driven by units in which the Failure Modes usually develop.
This solution solves the “hands-off” issues created by the SAP® Maintenance Plan which no longer calculates dates once the Work Orders are created.
The Calls Manager delivers the following benefits to your business:
- Firstly, it highlights to planners where Work Orders are scheduled for the incorrect dates.
- It highlights the variation in intervals, by controlling the variance, the intervals can be extended.
- Lastly, it facilitates the changing from Calendar based Plans to Counter based Plans, thereby increasing the intervals further in terms of the Failure Modes.
Proposed money savings opportunities are logged so the incremental value can be measured.
